Our School Day

8.45: The doors are unlocked and the children are met at the door. Teachers are in their classrooms to receive the children.
Please do not leave your child unattended on the school premises before this time, as staff cannot take responsibility for them. Whilst we encourage children to be independent we ask that parents ensure their child has entered the building safely.
 
8.55:  First bell indicates that gates will close in 5 minutes.
 
9.00:  Gates close and school day begins
 
9.05:  Assembly
 
10.25 to 10.45: Morning break.
The children are supervised by members of the staff
 
12.00 to 1.00:  KS1 Lunch break  12.15 to 1.15: KS2 Lunch break
 
2.15 to 2.30:  Afternoon break for Key Stage Two pupils
 
2.30 to 2.50:  Afternoon break for Key Stage One pupils
 
3.30:  End of school day, signalled by the school bell. The Reception, Year 1 and 2 children must be collected by parents or other adults normally responsible for them from the playground. Children will be brought out by the class teacher. This is an ideal time to pass on any messages.
 
Children in Years 3-6 will be released from the classroom to meet parents/ carers on the playground.
